Cuff Bracelet Class

Kristin Girard taught the Cuff Bracelet Class today.  A beautiful collection of distressed and vintage-looking bracelets were created!  Can't wait to see what is yet to come.  Great job ladies!

Riveted Flower Cuff

Distress it, hammer it, paint it, bend it, and rivet it!  Sound fun?  Well, this class is filled with many different skills.  You can customize your bracelet, make it any size, and give it a pop of color.  Our instructor, Kristin Girard, is teaching this class on Saturday, April 13th, from 2-5pm.  For more information on signing up, check here on our Dry Gulch Beads and Jewelry Website.

Spring Flowers Woven Bracelet

Although you wouldn't know it by the weather, spring is officially here.  In honor of the first weekend in spring, bead-woven art jewelry was created in the class today taught by Peggy Lierheimer.  A very enjoyable class, where everything from serene shades to vivid hues were chosen, make such sparkling and dazzling bracelets to wear.  There's no happiness in making things you wouldn't wear yourself!

 

 

Maybe not very springlike, but fitting for today.... Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes !

It's All About The Surface!

Our class today "The Art of Texturing Metal" was taught by Peggy Lierheimer, a talented metalsmith artist and teacher.  The class was very inspiring and energized with creativity.  As we watched the process of designing, many interesting textures were made, and beautiful bracelets were created by adding playful finishing touches.  After all, "It's all about the surface".

 

And then, we needed...Mascapone Marble Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache Buttercream!!!   YUMMM!!!!!

Interesting Pea Pods Created

The Pea Pod Pendant jewelry class was a huge success as seen in the above photo.  Beautiful and interesting pea pods were created as the ideas and designs flowed.  As always, it was great having Peggy Lierheimer, a very talented metalsmithing artist, teach the class.



And then, everything goes with a cupcake!!!
