Welcome to the 3rd Annual Bead Peeps Swap N' Hop Reveal! We partner up with another blogger, SWAP a collection of beads, CREATE with our Swap beads and then HOP everyone's participating blogs to see what they created too.
This year we were partnered with Barbara Ann Price of Colorcopia Jewelry Designs. As a fun twist this year, Barbara used Instagram to post her Swap collection. You can find her Instagram account here: https://www.instagram.com/colorcopiajewelrydesigns/ Barbara sent a gorgeous mix of turquoise, green, black and white handmade lampwork beads and sterling silver findings (seen in the photo above).
Above you can see what we sent to our partner Barbara. She works almost exclusively in colorful designs, so we wanted to challenge her by sending a Swap collection of stones and hand forged copper pieces in a color range of purples, earthy tones and mauves.
Our biggest challenge this year during the 3rd Annual Swap N' Hop was just finding time to create! Between shows and events, it was tough finding time to just sit down and put our creative hats on. However, we thoroughly enjoyed playing with the yummy turquoises and spring greens that our partner sent us. Now, on to the collection of fun-ness that we created with our Swap goodies!
Deborah hand knotted this striking necklace using lampwork beads from Barbara. These beads, created by artist Régis
Teixera, are paired with vintage glass, crystals and sea glass. The
focal features a vintage chandelier crystal and a sterling silver
hand-wrapped ring by artist Barbara Gumerson. This necklace was a tough one for Deborah because of the very modern-looking lampwork beads, but she is very happy with the end result!
Gianna, who is our resident seed beader, made this fabulous design! She used Barbara's enameled beads, baby lampwork spacers, aqua dagger beads and sterling silver toggle in this extravagant necklace inspired by the ocean. She was dreaming of summer days by the water, so she created the sea horse pendant by drawing it out on a suede background and then filling it with seed beads and a crystal rivoli.
We'd like to send a big thank you to Linda for this year's Swap N' Hop, and a thank you to our partner Barbara for all of the goodies she sent. Don't forget to check out all of the participating blogs and Instagram accounts below!

It definitely says summer and water. I like the focal that Jennifer created. Catherine your bracelet is wonderful. Great job ladies on using your swap beads.
